They also called for creation of a data bank for Quran memorizers and planning curricula for Quran memorization courses.
The need for Quranic institutes to stay away from political, factional and sectarian disputes was also highlighted at the three-day gathering.
Organized by Yemen’s Charitable Society for Holy Quran Memorization and the Society for Rehabilitating Holy Quran Memorizers in cooperation with the International Organization for Holy Quran Memorization and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, (ISESCO), the forum wrapped up on Thursday, April 15.
Quranic figures from different countries such as Sudan, Djibouti, Turkey, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE attended the forum and 500 male and female Quran memorizers from difference parts of Yemen were honored during the event.
